What is a cycle route? Where the road becomes a journey

It’s a medium- to long-distance cycle route with safe facilities.

Developed by the Département du Nord, the V364 links Dunkerque to Armentières (or vice versa) and passes through Terre de Flandre, taking you on a 100km journey through the varied, rural and verdant landscapes of Flanders.

The entire route is signposted. 3 sections have been created to make it easier to enjoy:

  • 33 km from Dunkirk to Esquelbecq
  • 31 km from Esquelbecq to Caëstre
  • 33 km from Caëstre to Armentières

On the Véloroute des Flandres, every journey adapts to your pace.
The TER stations and mobility hubs along the route offer a great opportunity to combine train and bike in complete peace of mind.

A short break, an unexpected diversions, or simply the desire to extend your discovery without forcing yourself: here, freedom is part of the journey.
