Ready for the CARNAVAL DE BERGUES organized by the Municipality? See you on March 8.
On the program:
- 3:00 pm: Departure from rue Maurice-Cornette for the start of the Bande des pêcheurs, led by the "Harmonie-Batterie Municipale de Bergues" association, fife and drummers under the direction of "Pompon Ier" and the "Pomponette" cantinière, with the participation of the "Les Joyeux Berguenards" association and all the carnival societies in the region
- From 5:00 pm on Place de la République: Throwing of Bergues cheese, Bergues sausage and "La Dunkerquoise" waffles
- From 7:00 pm on Place de la République: Rigodon finale
- From 7:55pm: Dislocation.
Please note that there will be security arrangements in and around the town.
- From 9:00 am, traffic will be prohibited throughout the town, inside the fortifications, until the end of the clean-up.
- Parking will be prohibited for all on the route and in the main streets and squares of the town.
- The city gates will be blocked at 9:00 am.
- The CD 916 will be closed to traffic from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
- Health professionals will be able to enter the town on presentation of a valid professional card. However, passage will be difficult during Carnival hours.
? Toilets will be available near the Abattoir, around the Church, behind the Town Hall, in the Public Garden and on the Place du Marché-aux-Bestiaux.
