RPN Cyclo: amongst dunes, villages and canals

Let yourself be charmed by the fine sandy beaches, the traditional villages and the unique atmosphere of Flanders.

Set off to explore a rich historical heritage, unspoilt natural areas, dune landscapes, tranquil lakes and picturesque canals, nestled between the plains and the coast. It couldn’t be simpler. Hop on your bike! Simply follow the green and white signs to explore over 600 kilometres of signposted routes.

Set off to explore the ridge that links the Monts du Nord, Flanders and Picardy Wallonia! Whether on foot or by bike, let yourself be guided by one of the 10 routes specially designed for families. Each route takes you into the heart of rolling, unspoilt and charming countryside, featuring peaceful paths and breathtaking viewpoints.

As you explore, discover the unique character of each hill: heritage, nature, local traditions… So much to explore at your own pace, in complete freedom.

Whether you’re a Sunday walker or a keen cyclist, there’s a route just for you.

On the paths of history, memory marches on...

Four “Sentiers de Mémoire” guidebooks offer hikers and cyclists alike signposted routes, enabling them to explore sites associated with the Second World War.

These routes, combining heritage, landscapes and historical accounts, invite you to immerse yourself fully in the past, with each stage shedding light on a key chapter in our shared history.
