Tourist Information Centres (RIT): becoming a RIT means taking over from the Tourist Office in promoting the destination as a tourist destination.
The tourist tax: a lever for quality tourism. Collected from visitors staying in the area, the tourist tax is an essential resource for developing local appeal. It is used to fund practical initiatives such as promoting the area, creating communication tools, supporting events and enhancing the local heritage.

Become a member of Terre de Flandre Tourisme
Fill in your membership form, available online or at the Office reception desk.
Choose the package best suited to your needs: two options are available:
- the “Visibility Pack” at €40: a dedicated page with a detailed presentation of your establishment, 4-5 photos, e-mail, website, payment methods, etc. 20 for each additional membership (1 establishment = 1 Tourinsoft listing).
- Visibility Pack +” at €80: this includes the Visibility Pack and the publication of 3 news items about your establishment on our Facebook in 2025.

Become a Tourist Information Centre (RIT)
Your role:
As an RIT, you will act as a relay for the Tourist Office and help to promote the destination to visitors. You’ll offer a local welcome and provide reliable, up-to-date information.

All you need to know about the Taxe de Séjour
Why the tourist tax?
The tourist tax is an essential tool for supporting the development of tourism in the region.
Who collects it?
👉 All accommodation providers (hotels, bed and breakfasts, furnished holiday accommodation, campsites, etc.) welcoming visitors to the region.
Your benefits:
✅ The Tourist Office will help you with all the formalities.
✅ Simple, accessible tools for declaring and paying the tax.
✅ The guarantee that each contribution will directly benefit local tourism development.
How do I declare?
- Register on the platform dedicated to tourist tax. To consult it, click here
- Declare your overnight stays each month
- Pay back the amount collected each quarter in accordance with the set terms and conditions, unless you have an exclusive agreement with a Payment Intermediary Platform (but don’t forget to declare this to us, as it will avoid unnecessary reminders).
