Join us at the Bambecque Church for the closing concert of the Brique et de Baroque festival, featuring Les Tritons, on Sunday, September 6, at 4:00 p.m.
Canti di donne: Under the vibrant leadership of Simona Morini, singer and actress, the choir will perform traditional women’s songs from various regions of Italy. Songs of struggle, laments, love songs, work songs, lullabies, and tarantellas—all these musical hues and refrains give rhythm to women’s lives. Echoing these collective songs, Baroque pieces will honor female figures—from mythical heroines to wet nurses, and the voices of women crying out their love or despair.
