Description
André Poortvliet is passionate about Baroque music, and enjoys sharing it with audiences through concerts on harpsichord, clavichord, historic organs and the Consort of Voices ensemble. He studied with Leen de Broekert, and took master classes in Baroque music performance with, among others, Pierre Hantaï,
Christophe Rousset, Bob van Asperen, Marieke Spaans, Harald Vogel, Francesco Cera and Léon Berben. André is titular of the De Rijckere organ at the Oostkerk in Middelburg, and is also the initiator of the De Rijckere-orgel 1776 Foundation. The program?s theme is ?Echoes from Spain and the Netherlands? and includes compositions by Antonio
de Cabezón, John Bull, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Jean De Macque and Francisco Correa de Arauxo.
