Luc Ponet has been titular organist at the Basilica of Tongeren since 1988. In 2012, he was appointed municipal organist of Leuven. He is also professor of organ at the LUCA School of Arts (formerly the Lemmens Institute). He is also artistic director of the Intra Muros Early Music Festival at Alden Biesen and of Baroque & More, a new offshoot of the Bach Academie Alden Biesen.
