Description
The Ekla Choir was founded in Lille in September 2020 at the initiative of its choir director, Mélodie Delannoy. Samuel Dobrakowski studied organ under Aude Heurtematte at the CRR in Lille. He teaches at the intermunicipal music school of the Hauts-de-Flandres Community of Communes (CCHF). Perrine Delecour earned the Diplôme de Formation Supérieure in musicology from the CNSM in Paris and the Diplôme d’État de formation musicale, then enthusiastically joined the staff of the Lille Conservatory in 2010. The program features works by Meredith Monk, John Rutter, Ola Gjeilo, and Eric Whitacre.
