Description
To mark Rendez-vous aux Jardins, Château d'Esquelbecq is opening its doors for visitors to discover or rediscover its Flemish Renaissance garden and landscaped grounds.
Under the national theme of "The View", this 23rd edition is an opportunity to take a fresh look at the views and perspectives that have structured the design of the château, gardens and park from the outset. Long obscured by the growth of vegetation in the 20th century, these landscaped areas are now gradually being restored.
A playful stroll will invite visitors to sharpen their eyes, observing the rediscovered perspectives, as well as the many details and nooks and crannies that make up the site?s charm and identity.
Leaf Art workshops will offer a sensitive and creative approach to plants, inviting young and old alike to take a different look at the natural world around them.
In Esquelbecq, three other gardens will be open on this occasion: Au Paradis des plantes, Le jardin de Donkerval and Les deux jardins.
Admission charge, reduced rate for under-18s, students, disabled persons and accompanying adults
